Ever since the whole COVID-19 crisis started I made a commitment to myself to start my mornings with hot lemon water. And I call you to do the same! You might need to get used to the taste, because it is obviously quite sour. But once I tell you all the health benefits of lemon water you will want to insert this to your morning routine immediately.

I usually drink this through a bamboo straw because the lemon isn’t that great for your teeth. Like I said, I also love to drink ginger tea throughout the day and add in a slice of lemon. If you don’t like the taste of hot lemon water on it’s own, you can also add in some extra flavors like lavender, mint, honey or turmeric.
